Oldenberg and the Hansa states
Oldenberg joined the Confederation of the Rhine in October 1808.
An 800 man infantry battalion the contribution to the Confederation forces organised along French lines (6 companies).

129th - Oldenberg

The above three regiments were incorporated in the Grande Armée.
A third battalion formed to 129th.
After the Russian debacle the 129th disbanded to reform 127th and
128th Regiments.
